Diamond Dave

Aquarium hobbyist, guide builder, and 3D-print accessory designer based in Norman, Oklahoma. Fin Sanctuary is built around the kind of practical tank advice I wish more beginners had at the start: realistic stocking, cleaner maintenance habits, and setups that actually fit the space and schedule people live with. I care most about helping people avoid expensive mistakes, unnecessary fish loss, and the kind of confusing advice that makes the hobby feel harder than it needs to be.

If you want to reach me directly, email [email protected]. You can also contact me through the contact page, which also lists the other Fin Sanctuary email addresses by purpose.

About the Site

Fin Sanctuary is meant to help people avoid the expensive mistakes that happen when a tank is planned around impulse instead of fit.

Why this site exists

Too many aquarium sites either stay too shallow to be useful or jump straight into advanced hobby jargon. This project is aimed at the middle: practical guidance for people setting up an aquarium in a living room, bedroom, kitchen, waiting area, or small office.

The goal is not to impress advanced hobbyists with complexity. The goal is to help normal people make good decisions about tank size, fish choice, maintenance, filtration, accessories, and long-term care.

The 3D-printed products on this site are meant to support that same idea. They should solve real tank problems cleanly, not just add novelty.
